I recently spent 2 nights at the Rod and Reel Resort in Anna Maria Island. This was not my first time visiting the island but it was my first time staying at this Anna Maria Island resort. It was a hosted stay; however, I was and am under no obligation to share my experience with you on my blog. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay so much I decided to share it anyway.

I will be providing you with a comprehensive review of the resort and explaining why I think this is the perfect waterfront Anna Maria island resort to stay at. This review as with all my reviews will be honest feedback including the things I loved and things that could be better. Additionally, I will give you a sample itinerary of what to do during your stay including suggestions of some places to eat.

Checking in – Isle of Skye. Three nights at Garalapin House

Skye was one of the places on my Scotland adventure that I was looking forward to the most. I spent significant time researching the ideal location to stay in and had a pretty long list of requirements for what would be my ideal home base for 3 nights. It was important to us to find a place that was centrally located but still outside of a main town. We wanted to enjoy the countryside views with accessibility to town for gas and food. I wanted to stay at a B&B, but it needed to be family friendly. Do you know how hard it is to find a place in Skye that has a family room for 4 people? After much research and deliberation I decided to book my stay at Garalapin House and here is what you can expect:

The month of September brings with it the Epcot Food and Wine festival and my birthday. Since I have never been to this festival before I decided I would be celebrating my birthday there this year. Nothing better than traveling the world all in one day while tasting different foods and drinks. The decision to attend the festival this year was easy but coming up with the right hotel to stay at is a different story. Orlando is not lacking in hotel options but this time we wanted to stay as close to Epcot as possible so we booked our stay at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.
